It’s true, it’s always easy to turn your back and walk away from something you really wanted, because something that you really want is something that requires a lot of fighting, patience, commitment, tears, frustration and the like. But when you walk away, you also take with you a persisting sense of curiosity that’ll hit you at the most random times and make you imagine, make you think ‘What if’, and that day when you sit you’ll wonder why you didn’t take the chance, why you didn’t give it one shot, you WILL regret it.
So while it is always easier to turn your back on something you want, it’s not always going to turn out to be the right thing, because maybe you’re losing out on something extremely beautiful. So take that one shot, however difficult it may seem because it’s always better to know something than die of not knowing. Curiosity kills the cat for a reason.

Are the ones that go on and on about the most random, pointless things that you and that person just find entertaining to talk about. I have a childhood picture like that with a girl whom I have absolutely no contact with now. Sometimes, I sit and wonder why we let go of certain relationships? It’s extremely sad.
But then again, if we don’t let go of the old the new will never come in.
That said, I think friends should part on a good note so that when they meet years later there’s no awkwardness or bitterness, it’s just normal routine “Aaah! Been a loooong while - warm hug meeting.” It should be a natural drift. Always better.
